A drone supplied to the municipality of Brescia the second largest municipality in the Lombardy region by population, after Milan, flies, piloted by a Local Police officer, over the city , Italy, 25 March 2020. Drones will be used to monitor citizens' compliance with the rules restricting movement amid the national lockdown implemented in a bid to slow down the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that is ravaging the Mediterranean country. “Ho chiesto al presidente della Regione Fontana e all’Ats di sottoporre a tampone almeno i lavoratori che oggi sono in malattia e che dovranno tornare a lavorare”.
Lo ha detto il sindaco di Brescia, Emilio Del Bono.
“E’ importante perché parliamo di persone che non sono state sottoposte a tampone e che rischiano di portare la positività sul posto di lavoro”, ha spiegato Del Bono. “Bisogna arginare il virus e serve un passo avanti in questa fase”, ha aggiunto.
