Set within the natural landscape of Japan, the Neo-Minimalist Sculpture Park is a place where art, space, and silence exist in refined balance. The park hosts a permanent exhibition, designed to be experienced over time: the sculptures change with light, seasons, and the movement of visitors, offering an ever-evolving encounter.
At the heart of the park are the works of Pierluigi Mancini artist name Manciniart, an artist known for exploring essential forms and their relationship with the surrounding environment. The iconic Ballerina Sculpture forms the emotional core of the park—an apparently static work that subtly evokes motion and lightness, inviting viewers to engage with it from multiple perspectives.
Alongside it stands the Bonsai Sculpture, a major source of inspiration for the artist. Interpreted through a Neo-Minimalist lens, the bonsai becomes a metaphor for time, discipline, and controlled growth, seamlessly integrated into the landscape.
Near the park, visitors can also discover other renowned sculptures by Manciniart, extending the artistic experience into the surrounding area. Among them is “Okage”, the brass horse sculpture dedicated to the samurai Akechi Mitsuhide—a powerful and symbolic work that bridges historical memory with contemporary artistic language.
Together, the park and its surroundings form a unique sculptural itinerary, where minimalism meets Japanese history and art becomes a lived experience rather than a static display.
The park is located in Gifu Prefecture, in Kani City, approximately one hour by train from Nagoya, making it an accessible cultural destination beyond the main tourist routes.
