International Kurash seminar in Tashkent.

On April 30, 2022 the International Kurash Institute held an international online seminar for kurash coaches and referees of  Kurash Federations of Southeast Asian countries in the sports complex of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.

The event, organized in accordance with the current calendar plan of the International Kurash Association, was presented by representatives of the International Kurash Association, the Italian Kurash Federation, the National Olympic Committee, Ministry of Sports Development of Uzbekistan, leadership of the International Kurash Institute and its responsible staff, Media as well as more than 100 coaches and specialists from  Zone 4 of Asian countries Kurash Federations participated in online ZOOM platform.

This international seminar was organized in order to increase the prestige and status of kurash in the world , as well as further enhance the spirit of training of all kurash teams, training of referees and coaches, participating in the “SEA Games”, which will be held in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam and in South East Asian countries on May 12-23 of this year.
In the speech at official opening ceremony of the seminar, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association Umid Yakubov, President of the Italian Kurash Federation Vittorio Giorgi, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Habibullah Tajiyev underlined that seminars of this level will be continued regularly and organized offline as well.
Seminar was attended by coaches of Kurash Federations not only from Southeast Asian countries, but also from the countries of Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and many other Asian continents.

Based on the Kurash Rules, 7 Groups including 56 kurash technical methods were illustrated in the format of video and practical demonstration by the technical director of the International Kurash Association Mr. Mohammad Reza Nasseri and experienced specialists of the International Kurash Institute Kim El Jung, Shukhrat Keldierov, Farrukh Akhmedov.
